Youth Ministry Area Coordinator for York-Credit Valley

Do you want to see teenagers grow into fully committed followers of Jesus Christ?  Are you passionate about the next generation? Are you feeling called to share your gifts and talents to support youth ministry in the Anglican church?

We are looking for a vibrant Christian who is passionate about nurturing and expanding youth ministry in our Area to work with Bishop Jenny Andison, so more youth can grow as disciples of Jesus. The Area Coordinator will engage and equip youth leaders to nurture the faith formation of youth in their parishes and communities. They will develop, nurture and maintain communication with churches to support and animate youth ministry. The Area Coordinator will also be an active member of the Archbishop’s Youth Ministry Committee, which plans youth events and promotes youth ministry in the Diocese.

This is a part-time (15 hours per week) paid position on a year-long renewable contract. Job description and information about the application process (deadline is 4:00pm on November 10, 2017) can be found here.

Vacant Incumbencies

Clergy from outside the diocese with the permission of their Bishop may apply through the Diocesan Executive Assistant, Mrs. Mary Conliffe. They will be asked to provide a letter from their Bishop confirming that they have his or her permission to apply.
