Appointments

  • The Rev. Wilner Dangawen has been appointed Associate Priest of St. Michael and All Angels as of December 1, 2018.
  • The Rev. Ronald Duncan has been appointed Interim Priest-in-Charge of St. Luke, Dixie (Lakeview) beginning January 1, 2019.
  • The Rev. Murray McColl has been appointed Interim Priest-in-Charge of the Parish of Apsley beginning January 1, 2019.
  • The Rev. Steven Smith has been appointed Interim Priest-in-Charge of All Saints, Peterborough beginning January 1, 2019.
  • The Rev. Jerome Khelawan has been appointed Interim Priest-in-Charge of St. Thomas à Becket beginning January 14, 2019.
  • The Rev. Robert Shantz has been appointed Interim Priest-in-Charge of St. John, West Toronto beginning January 28, 2019.
  • The Rev. Canon Anthony Jemmott has been appointed Interim Priest-in-Charge of St. Peter, Oshawa beginning February 1, 2019.
  • Major the Rev. Canon Don Aitchison has been appointed Priest-in-Charge of St. Peter on-the-Rock, Stony Lake beginning June 30, 2019 for the month of July.

Deprivation of Ministry

  • The Rev. David Giffen has been deprived of ministry under Canon 22 and his appointment as incumbent at Redeemer, Bloor St. has been terminated as of December 12, 2018. Deprivation means that he is unable to function as a priest, publicly or privately, or hold any appointment requiring ordination, until he is reinstated by the Bishop of Toronto.
