Members of Synod

With the exception of Bishop’s Appointees, and Youth and Young Adult members, the names of Members of Synod, both clerical and lay, can be found in the Registration Report.

The Registration Report includes the following important pieces of information:

  • Member ID – this unique Member ID number will be required for online registration.
  • Synod Vote – this shows whether you are a voting or non-voting Member of Synod. If the Synod Vote starts with a “Y” it means you have a vote; if the Synod Vote starts with an “N” it means that you do not have a vote. If you are a Lay Substitute Member, you will have a vote if you are taking the place of a regular Lay Member who is unable to attend this session of Synod.
  • Accommodation – this indicates accommodation eligibility.

If your name is not listed or if you believe there is an error, please contact Pamela Boisvert as soon as possible.

Online Registration

Online Registration for Members of Synod will open on Sept. 10 and close on Oct. 1. Detailed instructions on how to pre-register will be emailed to Members of Synod in early September.

Accommodation is located in both the Sheraton Parkway and the Best Western.
Eligibility for accommodation is indicated in the Registration Report document under the Accommodation heading as either “ELIGIBLE” or “NOT ELIGIBLE.”

  • If you are ELIGIBLE for accommodation, your room charges, including taxes, will be billed to the “Master” account. Any incidental charges, however, must be paid prior to your departure.  Accordingly, a valid credit card with an authorization of $100 or a cash/debit card deposit in the amount of $50.00 must be presented at the time of check-in.  More information will be provided when you register online for Synod.
  • If you would like to reserve a room for Thursday evening at your own expense, or if you are NOT ELIGIBLE and would like to reserve a room at your own expense, visit the Accommodation page. Learn more.
