After a successful discussion at our first Women’s Voices in Theology Book Series, we continue with the next book, Advent: The Once & Future Coming of Jesus Christ by Fleming Rutledge.
Fleming Rutledge is an American Episcopal (Anglican) priest, bestselling author, and an acclaimed preacher. Another engaging writer, Fleming challenges us to embrace more fully the spirituality and themes of the Advent season. While many of us see Advent as a pre-Christmas season, it is truly a season in and of itself, a season by which we look ahead to the coming of Jesus in glory and examine more carefully our own spiritual life.
Fleming’s book will also guide us as we enter into the season of Advent. We will meet on Tuesdays, November 28, December 5, 12, & 19 from 7:30 – 9:00 PM. We will meet both in-person and online.
