Janice Meighan – Director of Fundraising & Donor Care
Janice joined the Toronto United Church Council (TUCC) in 2023, bringing with her a wealth of professional fundraising experience and academic qualifications in Christianity in the public sphere, ritual, and biblical studies. In her role, she directs TUCC’s philanthropic initiatives, fostering a culture of generosity that enables transformative giving. Her efforts align with the values and faith of individuals, congregations, and church organizations, facilitating both current and legacy gifts that make a lasting impact on the church community.
Dedicated to cultivating and nurturing donor relationships, Janice empowers supporters to invest in a brighter future for the church. Prior to her role at TUCC, she served as National Fundraising Manager for the Presbyterian Church in Canada (2016-2018), where she led individual, congregational, and national giving programs. During this time, she also pioneered webinars to help churches grow their online giving, adapting to an increasingly digital world.
