This Advent season, we will explore the roots of the Anglican musical tradition. Each session will be led by Rev. Andrew with support from our gifted music directors, Charlotte and Manny, who will bring the music to life! Together, we seek to deepen our understanding of what it means to worship and praise God with music and song in the Anglican church.

Join us for four sessions on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm, in person at St. John’s Willowdale.

* Nov. 25: The beginnings of the Anglican musical tradition

* Dec. 2: Worship wars in the 16th & 17th centuries

* Dec. 9: The birth of the English hymn tradition

* Dec. 16: The Anglican musical tradition in a global context
