Forward Planning: For Seniors and their Supporters

SESSION ONE Sat. May 11th 2:30 – 4:30

• Financial Planning for later life – trusts, charities, etc.
• Legal Planning – powers of attorney, wills, choosing an executor etc.
• Planning for Living Transitions – help at home, residential levels of care etc.
• Planning for Aftercare – options for funerals, memorials, or celebrations of life

SESSION TWO Sat. May 25th 2:30 – 4:30

• Safe At Home – fall prevention, medications, managing chores, etc.
• Frauds, Scams and Abuse – awareness, avoiding, reporting, digital security (Toronto Police Service staff)
• Fire Safety – hazards in the home, calling 911, etc. (Toronto Fire Service staff)
• Developing a Record –documents to record, contact information, location of documents, etc.

Each session will present four topics addressed by qualified speakers, with time for questions after each segment. All are welcome to come for one or both days and there is no cost.

We are fully wheelchair accessible. Onsite parking and overflow parking is available.
