Ordination process

Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them, so that they may serve me as priests. – Exodus 29:1

All baptized people are called to participate in the saving and reconciling work of Christ in the world. For a few, faithfulness to the demands of baptism is most appropriately exercised within the context of Holy Orders.

To discern the source of a sense of calling to the diaconate or priesthood is a sacred trust, undertaken in prayer and in deference to the wisdom and needs of Christ’s Church.
