New Beginnings: The Upper Canada Choristers

The Upper Canada Choristers celebrate their 30th anniversary!
Four premieres – one a song by a Grade 5 student – plus old favourites and more highlight “New Beginnings”, the 30th anniversary concert by the Upper Canada Choristers and co-founder/director Laurie Evan Fraser. Joining them are pianist Hye Won (Cecilia) Lee, the choir’s accomplished Latin ensemble, Cantemos; and special guests, the Boys’ Choir of Maurice Cody Junior Public School, directed by Carole Snow.
Among other numbers, the program includes songs in Spanish and Japanese, the Scottish song Loch Lomond, the unofficial Cape Breton anthem We Rise Again, and Billy Joel’s And So It Goes.
TICKETS, $25, are available via Eventbrite or at the door. Free for children 16 and under when accompanied by an adult.
