Outreach & Advocacy Conference

Join us on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Havergal College Upper School (1451 Avenue Rd., Toronto) for our annual Outreach & Advocacy Conference.  Our theme, “Grounded and Growing in Christ: Church as a centre of resistance and hope” explores how we as the church can counter the malaise and despair arising from the social and ecological crises around us. Our keynote speaker, Thea Prescod, is a street nurse and counsellor at Sanctuary Toronto as well as a member of the Wine Before Breakfast worshipping community.

The Bishops’ Youth Ministry Committee join the Social Justice & Advocacy Committee in inviting youth of the Diocese to join us.  There will be a special workshop for youth in the morning session, and youth are invited to make their choice from all available workshops in the afternoon.
