A message from Archbishop Colin Johnson
Canon Dave Robinson has served the diocese faithfully for over 30 years, most recently as director of Congregational Development. He will be retiring at the end of this week, and we have been saying a profound thank you and sad goodbye to him in a series of receptions this week.
I am pleased to announce that Susan Abell, ODT, has accepted my invitation to be acting director of Congregational Development for an interim period while we assess the next steps we need to take in staffing this vital component of our diocesan ministry. Susan will add this to her current responsibilities as acting CAO. When a new Executive Director is hired shortly, Susan will continue as the interim Congregational Development director with a mandate to develop a consultative report on how this ministry, including staff and volunteers, will be supported, structured and deployed to serve the mission of our diocese. Please join me in welcoming Susan to this new role.
