PWRDF Lunch and Learn Friday June 14th

This is exciting opportunity for clergy in the Diocese of Toronto to meet PWRDF partner, Antionette Habinshuti, Deputy Executive Director of Partners in Health (PIH) Rwanda.

In 2016 the Diocese of Toronto generously contributed $500,000 from the Our Faith Our Hope campaign to support PWRDF’s All Mothers and Children Count program in Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Mozambique. The work in Rwanda is being carried out by PIH.

2019 marks the 25th anniversary year of the Rwandan genocide. At a time when we are remembering those who died in the horrific violence of that time, Ms. Habinshuti offers us a story from the front lines of the rebuilding that has taken place in Rwanda.

Clergy are welcome to bring a member of their parish who they identify as being interested in PWRDF.

This event is being held at St. George’s, Pickering Village from 12:30 to 2:00 on Friday June 14th. This is a free event but please indicate if you plan to attend by emailing srobson@toronto.anglican.ca no later than June 10th.
