Interface

Open to youth age 13-18 and their leaders from all episcopal areas! Empowering youth to live their faith in their communities, Interface is a hands-on social justice workshop exploring questions like: What does this have to do with my faith in Jesus? How can I help bring about a change? Isn’t this issue too big for me to have an impact?

Our event from April has been rescheduled for Oct. 20! This interactive day focuses on homelessness and affordable housing. Help spread the word download the poster.

SPARK!

Empowering youth leaders in their context. Our May 2018 event at Kingfisher Bay Retreat Centre focused on youth ministry, with a special workshop on the Enneagram.

Recharge Retreat

Once a year we come together for our annual ReCharge youth retreat, empowering youth to deepen their relationship with God and each other. The retreat is for youth ages 12-17. During the weekend, we enjoy a range of contemporary and traditional forms of worship, which lets us experience the great diversity of worship the Anglican Church has to offer!

Our 2018 retreat is coming your way Sept. 21-23 at Muskoka Woods. Register now! The theme is all about “Home” – what is home? Where do we find it? In relationships with God, family, and friends? What’s our role in helping others find home?

Spread the word download the poster and share the Facebook event.

Youth Ministry Apprenticeship Program (YMAP)

YMAP is meant to equip and prepare potential leaders for a youth ministry position in the diocese. Leaders will learn not in a classroom, but by doing actual youth ministry. If you have a passion for working with young people and a desire to grow in your faith, this is the perfect program for you! Or, if your parish wants to create a sustainable youth ministry, this is a great place to start!

To learn more, read the YMAP brochure. For more information, contact Christian Harvey at christian@warmingroom.ca.
