Open to youth age 13-18 and their leaders from all episcopal areas! Empowering youth to live their faith in their communities, Interface is a hands-on social justice workshop exploring questions like: What does this have to do with my faith in Jesus? How can I help bring about a change? Isn’t this issue too big for me to have an impact?

In 2019, we’re teaming up with the Diocese’s annual Outreach & Advocacy Conference. There will be a special workshop for youth in the morning session, “There’s more to Being Christian Than Just Going to Church” led by Alexandra McIntosh and Jillian Ruch. Youth are invited to make their choice from all available workshops in the afternoon. Learn more on the Outreach & Advocacy Conference page!

Empowering youth leaders in their context. Our May 2018 event at Kingfisher Bay Retreat Centre focused on youth ministry, with a special workshop on the Enneagram.

Recharge Retreat

Once a year we come together for our annual ReCharge youth retreat, empowering youth to deepen their relationship with God and each other. The retreat is for youth in Grades 6-12. During the weekend, we enjoy a range of contemporary and traditional worship, which lets us experience the great diversity the Anglican Church has to offer!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our 2019 retreat!

Retreat consent & waiver forms – two forms for EVERY participant (youth and leaders)

Youth Ministry Apprenticeship Program (YMAP)

YMAP is meant to equip and prepare potential leaders for a youth ministry position in the diocese. Leaders will learn not in a classroom, but by doing actual youth ministry. If you have a passion for working with young people and a desire to grow in your faith, this is the perfect program for you! Or, if your parish wants to create a sustainable youth ministry, this is a great place to start!

To learn more, read the YMAP brochure. For more information, contact Cormac Culkeen, or Alexandra McIntosh,
