The Rev. Sky Starr, executive director of Out of Bounds Grief and Trauma Support, will be preaching at a service to remembering and grieving for victims of gun violence and their families and seeking peace and justice in response. Please prayerfully consider attending. Learn more here.


Bishop’s Teaching Series ~ Christian Basics, Weekly on Wednesdays, October 17 to November (excluding October 31), 7pm-9m

Bishop Jenny is leading this Christian basics course, for spiritual enquirers or those looking for a refresher. The four evenings are relaxed and informal. Each gathering begins at 7 pm with coffee and dessert. Our evenings include upfront talks and lively discussions, wrapping up by 9 pm.

A Discussion Event on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) ~

Saturday, November 24 , 9am-12pm

This is the first of two sessions for clergy and lay people of the YCV Area on this challenging topic.

The first session will take a historical overview of how we got to where we are today and will outline a biblical and theological framework for thinking about medical assistance in dying.

Guest speakers will include the Rev. Dr. Eric Beresford, Rector of St. Timothy, North Toronto, and Mr. Michael Buttrey, Theologian-in-Residence at St. Clement, Eglinton.

Open to clergy and lay people of the York-Credit Valley Area.
