The Momentum Program was created to provide professional development for the newly ordained in the context of a supportive peer environment. A two-year program in total, generally coinciding with an assistant curacy, new clergy meet eight times a year, with 5 day-long events and 3 overnight events.
The curriculum covers a variety of topics as determined by the College of Bishops. Sessions are usually facilitated by experienced clergy of the diocese, fostering a collegial, adult-learning style method of post-ordination training.
The Momentum Curriculum covers June 2019 to June 2020.
